Friz MFP Membrance Press with Double shuttle with loading from both ends.
Platen dimensions of 1400 mm x 2700mm with a useful pressing cap. 1100mmx2400mmx500mm opening, chamber height for max. material thickness of 3-1/8" max specific chamber pressure of 5 bar or 80PSI on ea platen.
Actual size of heating platens 106"x55" upper platen unit with electric resistance heating of 24kw, lower platen with electric resistance heating, heating range up to 240 degree c, lower vacuum table with large cap. vacuum pump allows processing of concave surfaces. (6) large dia. down stroke hydraulic cylinders with 500mm stroke.
(2) double roll manual material holders (for each table/tray - for non stop operation load (1) side while other side is in press; manual loading and unloading shuttle trays on each side of the press allow for continuous operation. When one table/tray is pushed in the other table is pushed out with the same operation.
Complete with Hot air recycler for there compressed air used in pressure chamber and 15 HP hydraulic pump unit.
Use of a user friendly PLC Homatic NC 16 control ensures the possibility to set and memorize variable operation parameters like time, pressure, vacuum and temperatures. The PLC control also provides for a MODE-2 cycle that allows the press to work without a membrane. This will allow working with veneers, no female moulds, evened out dimensional tolerances, shorter pressing time, lower energy requirements and higher degree of efficiency.
This press has a special execution for the table height that is at 33" which made it easier for loading and unloading.
